Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Profitability, underwriter reputation and percentage of shares offered to the level of underpricing of shares in companies that conduct initial public offering on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2015-2020 period. The population in this study are companies that go public listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that conduct initial public offerings with the period of observation 2015-2020, totaling 227 companies. Based on the sampling technique with purposive sampling, obtained a sample of 157 companies. The data collection techniques using documentation from available sources, namely using secondary data from the Indonesian Stock Exchange at www.idx.co.id and other secondary data from the www.sahamok.com and www.indopremier.com. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Profitability has a negative effect on stock underpricing, (2) Underwriter reputation has a negative effect on stock underpricing and (3) the percentage of shares offered has a positive effect on stock underpricing.
