PENGARUH VARIASI NILAI ABRASI PADA AGREGAT KASAR TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN BETON MUTU FC’ 30 MPA

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of the abrasive value of coarse aggregate on the
compressive strength of Fc' 30 Mpa concrete and compare the results of the wear test
(abrasion) of three different Quarry, namely Quarry Bagelen (Purworejo), Quarry
Mbaturetno (Wonogiri), and Quarry Pare (Wonogiri). This research was conducted in
the laboratory of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk, Plant Klaten, Central Java. The
research parameter influences the abrasion value of coarse aggregate from three
different quarry with the compressive strength test of concrete. The test specimens used
are cylinders measuring 15 x 30 cm, totaling 27 pieces, consisting of 9 specimens for
each coarse aggregate quarry. So the results of this study obtained the results of the
coarse aggregate wear test of Quarry Bagelen (Purworejo) 22.7%, Quarry Mbaturetno
(Wonogiri) 27%, and Quarry Pare 28.7% (Wonogiri). The results of the wear test
(abrasion) from three different quarry are found in the results of testing the specimen
with a quality of f'c 30 Mpa with the known value of the average compressive strength
of concrete at the age of 28 days from the Bagelen Quarry of 32.7 Mpa with an abrasion
value of 22, 7%, Quarry Mbaturetno of 31.13 MPa with an abrasion value of 27%, and
Quarry Pare of 30.55 MPa with an abrasion value of 28.7%.
