ANALYSIS OF FACTORS CAUSED OF DELAY IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE THREE DIHAJI DAM DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN OKU SELATAN DISTRICT

Abstract

The Ministry of PUPR is currently carrying out the Tiga Dihaji Dam development in
South Sumatra Province as an effort to meet the Vision 2030 target, namely the ratio of
water storage for the total population to reach 120 meters per capita per year. The
factors that cause delays are labor, materials, equipment, design, planning and
financing, social and community environment, and managerial. The purpose of this
study is to analyze the factors that cause delays in the implementation of the three
pilgrimage dam construction project in South OKU Regency. This research was
conducted in July 2022 at the BPK Dam I in Package I of the Tiga Dihaji Dam
Development in South OKU Regency. Factors causing delays were measured using a
questionnaire based on Proboyo (1999), Andi et al (2003), and Assaf (2006). Samples
taken 37 respondents. The data analysis method used validity test, reliability test,
correlation analysis, ranking analysis, and also seen from the time schedule. Based on
the results of the study, it was found that the factor that most influenced the delay in
the Package I Project of the Tiga Dihaji Dam construction in South OKU Regency was
the inaccuracy of the design which required a design review.
