Abstract

Sika Plastiment Vz is a plasticizer and water reducer for concrete mixtures that are liquid in
shape and have the effect of slowing down the setting time. Sika Plastiment Vz is one of the
products of PT. Sika Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of Sika
Plastiment vz on the compressive strength of concrete variations tried, namely 0%, 0.2%,
0.4% and 0.6% on the weight of cement. The total test objects are 36 pieces and the number
of test objects for each treatment is 9 pieces with a testing age of 3, 7 and 28 days. The test
object used in this study is cylindrical concrete with a diameter of 15 cm x 30 cm. Normal
concrete test objects and variations of Sika Plastiment Vz are planned compressive strength
K-300 (fc 25 mpa) Based on SNI 7394-2008. The results showed that the highest average
compressive strength was 28.56 mpa in cylindrical concrete with a dose of sika plastiment vz
0.6%, while the lowest average compressive strength was 20.01 mpa in normal cylindrical
concrete or without the addition of Sika Plastimen Vz
