Abstract

In this study, the authors apply a Portable air purifier with a radius of reach of 3 square meters, so that it can help improve air quality for workers in the office enviroment. This HEPA technology is fully embedded in the Air Purifier device. The air purifier is clinically proven to be able to purify and filter air through the use of its HEPA filter, which is able to significantly inhibit the development of viruses compared to rooms that do not use an air purifier. In addition, this tool is also equipped with a non-contact temperature scanner using the MLX90164 sensor and is equipped with a sterilization box using UV-C exposure to neutralize viruses and bacteria. This tool has two options for using electrical energy sources, namely from PLN, and mini photovoltaic with power storage using lithium batteries. Therefore, the author raised the theme "Design of Portable Medical Devices With Miniphotovoltaic Energy Backup" as the title of this report.
