Abstract

Asphalt is a mixture of continuous graded aggregates of bitumen materials. The main strength of concrete asphalt is in the state of the aggregate grains that interlock and a little sand / filler / bitumen as mortar. cement PCC is a type of cement obtained from slag milling combined with inorganic and gypsum materials. Rice Husk has good properties as a compactor filler because it has cementation properties, its small granules. Testing is carried out in stages, Aggregate testing includes type weight inspection, abrasion test use Los Angeles machine, attachment to asphalt, piping index and water absorption. For asphalt testing, including Penetration, Flash and Fire Point, Flaking Point, Ductility and Type Weight Test. The method used as a mixing tester is the Marshall method. The size of flexibility and durability values in the AC-WC asphalt mixture is affected by the size of the Stability, Flow and Marshall Quotient values. Rice Husk subtitute has a significant impact on the value of stability. Rice husks doesn’t have a significant impact on value of flow. Rice husks affected the increasing a value of MQ so that it has an insignificant impact. From the results of the tests that have been done, it can be concluded that, the greater the percentage of Cement PCC Subtitusition and Rice Husks against AC-WC asphalt tends not to have a significant impact on flexibility properties while for durability values both because it fullfil specifications
