Abstract

Activities by humans have a relatively light workload level and are moderate and heavy. Physical workload is a workload that requires physical energy in human muscles which will function as a source of energy. Mental workload is the workload which is the difference between the demands of the workload of a task and the maximum capacity of the worker. PT. Prima Mulia Utama (PUM) is a company engaged in the distribution of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). Loading and unloading is the process of moving goods from one work unit to another by manual means or using machine tools. Manual loading and unloading does not recognize the work shift system when trucks enter either morning, afternoon or evening, workers must be ready to do manual loading and unloading work and also work environmental factors such as temperature, lack of tools, individuals and weather. Cardiovascular Load (CVL) Is a method of measuring physical workload which is done by measuring the resting pulse and work pulse. NASA TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) is a method of measuring mental workload. This method measures 6 dimensions of workload size, namely Mental demand, Physical Demand, Temporal Demand, Performance, Effort and Frustation Level. The highest physical workload was experienced by a worker named Limin with a CVL result of 78.62 for the lowest was found in a worker named Abidin with a CVL result of 58.58. For the mental workload of a worker named Sentot who has the lowest mental workload with a score of 49.33 in the low category, while the highest is experienced by a worker named Seno with a score of 68 in the medium category.
