Analisa Perbandingan Kuat Tekan Beton fc’52 MPa Menggunakan Semen PCC dan OPC Terhadap Pemakaian Water Reducer

The government has set a greenhouse gas emission target of 29% in 2030. This is pursued, among other, by reducing energy consumption in industries such as cement, steel, paper, etc. santoso stated that the potential for reducing CO2 emissions if OPC (Conventional cement) is replaced by PCC (Environmentally friendly cement) amounted to 3,34 million tons of CO2at the meeting of the Indonesian Cement Association in 2019. For this reason, this research is necessary to determine the ration of the compressive strength of concrete in PCC cement and OPC cement. The concrete compressive strength test object is in the form of a cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm x 30 cm.

Strength test result at 28 days of age using superplasticizer on OPC cement were higher, namely 52,9 MPa, while for PCC cement was 52,62 MPA. The difference in the thecoma [ressive strength of concrete between OPC and PCC cement is not too big. However, there was a big difference at 7 days of age, namely in OPC cement the compressive strength value was 44,83 MPa, while in PCC cement the compressive strength was 34,97 MPa. However, this difference keeps getting smaller until the age of 28 days
