PEMILIHAN BAHAN KIMIA DIKOLAM PENGENDAP LUMPUR STOCKPILE 1 PT. BUKIT ASAM DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP)
Abstract
PT Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk is a company engaged in coal mining in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra. One of the impacts of coal mining is acid mine drainage which can affect the water ecosystem around the mining area. To prevent this, it is necessary to control the quality of acid mine drainage using active or passive methods so that polluted water can be neutralized before being discharged into the river body. The purpose of this study was to determine and select effective and efficient chemicals to neutralize acid mine drainage in Stockpile 1 Sludge Sedimentation Pond (KPL). The data collected were then calculated using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of this study concluded that price is a criterion that the company prioritizes in selecting chemicals to neutralize acid mine drain because it has the highest weight of 7,33 and the kapur tohor (CaO) is the most effective chemical to use because it has the highest weight value of 7,984.
