Abstract

Based on current facts regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, measuring body temperature is one of the factors or vital signs in determining health, this is the background for the design of this tool, a design tool that can monitor the number of objects entering the room. using a counter system and a touchless temperature measuring device using the MLX90614 sensor as the main detector of body temperature equipped with an infrared proximity sensor that can distinguish human temperature from environmental temperature, the barrier gate will close automatically when the temperature is high (> 37º) and the number of objects in the room already according to the specified capacity (13 people). By monitoring body temperature and the number of objects in the room, it is hoped that its application will later help the process of checking body temperature in workplaces and public places to be safer and more effective during the Covid-19 pandemic.
