Abstract

Colonel H. Burlian's road section is a two-way road and is divided into six lanes, so that the congestion that occurs will increase, especially at conflict points that have median opening facilities. This road section is dominated by urban centers, offices, hospitals, markets and schools. However, along with the increasing number of needs for transportation services, Colonel H. Burlian's road section has many transportation problems, one of which is Delays and Obstacles. This research also aims to determine the level of service (level of service) on the Colonel H. Burlian road. The performance analysis of the Colonel H. Burlian road section was carried out using primary data and secondary data obtained from the Satker Region III of the PUPR Ministry of Palembang City. Traffic volume data was surveyed for 7 days in the conditions before covid 19 and during covid 19, for 12 hours per day at 06.00-18.00. The road section performance analysis uses the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) method with the degree of saturation (DJ) as the main indicator of road performance. as many as 10,890 vehicles / hour with a volume of 3581.9 cur / hour, and from the calculation results obtained a capacity of 2784 vehicles / hour while the LHR survey during the Covid 19 pandemic, the peak traffic that occurred on Tuesday at 14.00-15.00, was as much as 5445 vehicles / hour with a volume of 1790.95 skr / hour, and from the calculation results the capacity is 2784 vehicles /hour.
