To meet the transportation movement of the general public, adequate road access is needed in order to be able to provide maximum access service. However, over time, the strength of the road structure will decrease and will cause damage to these road sections. Therefore, an assessment of the condition of the pavement is the most important aspect in determining road maintenance and repair activities. This study aims to determine the type of damage and the percentage value of the pavement value on the Bypass Alang-Alang Lebar Road using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method which is divide into 20 segments where each segmen is 200 meters away. This data collection is done visually calculations to determine the value of the pavement condition. Where after analyzing the calculations of the 20 segments, the lowest PCI value was obtained at STA 0 + 600 - 0 + 800 with a pavement value is 17% which was included in the Very Poor category and the largest PCI value was at STA 2 + 600 - 2 +800 with a pavement value of 82% which is included in the Very Good category, the general damage found on Bypass Alang-Alng Lebar Road is the type of hole damage, crocodile skin crack, patches, loose grains, and edge cracking. The value of pavement condition or the overall PCI on Bypass Alang-Alang Lebar Road is 48% after analyzing the PCI calculations on all existing segments.
