PENGARUH SHIFT KERJA TERHADAP BEBAN KERJA DAN KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA PERUSAHAAN FARMASI (PT. DEXA MEDICA PALEMBANG)

Abstract

The industrial sector has been expanding in recent years. The industrial sector consists of informal  and  formal.  Even  though  the  formal  industrial  sector  currently  uses  a  lot  of machines, it still uses human labor in several parts of the production sector of a good or service. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work shift and workload on employee performance at a pharmaceutical company (PT. Dexa Medica Palembang). The sample in  this study  were 60  employees of  the production  section  of  PT.  Dexa  Medica Palembang. Samples were taken using simple random sampling method. Based on data analysis, the conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that there is a difference between the workload of employees at a pharmaceutical company (PT. Dexa Medica Palembang) morning shift and night shift because the probability value F (sig) is 0.004 <α = 0.05 and F count of 8,573> 3.92. There is no difference between employee performance at a pharmaceutical  company  (PT.  Dexa  Medica  Palembang)  morning  shift  and  night  shift because the probability value of F (sig) is 0.948> α = 0.05 and F is 0.004 <3.92.
