PERANCANGAN TATA LETAK GUDANG SPAREPART DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE CLASS BASED STORAGE

Abstract

PT Wana Potensi Guna is a company engaged in the production of palm oil processing. In carrying out palm oil production activities there are often constraints on its production machines, it is necessary to have a storage warehouse that is used to store equipment and spare parts to help the activities of palm oil production. This storage warehouse is located in nganti village, sanga village, musi banyuasin district, South Sumatra Province. PT Wana Potensi Guna has a warehouse with an area of spare parts warehouse area is 300 M2 which serves to support the production process. Class based storage method is done by placing materials based on the similarity of a type of material or material into a group. This group will be placed at a special location in the warehouse. Based on the results of the research warehouse layout can optimize the cost of material handling per month in the amount of Rp 3,099,500 from the initial layout of Rp 8,349,000.
