IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM MANAJEMEN BEHAVIOR BASED SAFETY KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA

Abstract

Unsafe work behavior that is continually carried out by workers will risk causing serious work accidents. One of the efforts to prevent work accidents whose biggest cause is unsafe action or unsafe behavior is to implement a behavior based safety program as a process of increasing safe work behavior. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the level of implementation of the Behavior Based Safety management system of Occupational Safety and Health of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero), knowing the stages in the risk of accident rates at work and knowing the behavior carried out by workers. Based on the results of research activities at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk, the following conclusions can be obtained as the level of application of OHS management based on behavior based safety at PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) in terms of organizational and management factors of 85.2%, environmental factors of 84.7%, individual factors by 84.1%, and hazardous behavior factors by 79% in the good category and run effectively. For the implementation of behavior based safety level of 83.25% and included in the category of very good and effective. Based on the results of the analysis there are some input provided for the company, while the solutions given to the company to prevent the formation of dangerous behavior so that the company can reduce the number of work accidents and Improving safety performance involves involving all employees and company staff in safety management, focusing on unsafe behavior (up to the smallest proportion), support from management, especially managers on occupational safety and health, and implementing a Behavior Based Safety approach to the company.
