SISTEM INFORMASI (STUDY FROM HOME) DI MASA WABAH COVID-19 PADA MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH MAMBAUL HIDAYAH II PALEMBANG

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mambaul Hidayah II is one of the schools in the city of Palembang which is engaged in education, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mambaul Hidayah II has laboratory equipment, multimedia and is also equipped with internet facilities at school. However, it is still not optimal in utilizing the internet. In the learning process, information and communication technology is still using conventional methods. As a result, in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, which caused all schools to be closed, it was impossible to conduct face-to-face learning, all systems were carried out online. So that the current Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mambaul Hidayah II school, which is learning from home is still using WhatsApp by working on modules and sending photos of assignments. Then the teacher must check one by one from the photos, if many have sent the photos it will take up a lot of storage memory space, and take a long time for the assessment stage. The purpose of this research is to design and build a Study From Home Information System during the Covid-19 Outbreak at Madrasah Mambaul Hidayah II Palembang using the Extreme Programming method. The results of this study are a study from home application based on android mobile that can be used by all teachers and students, this application makes it easier for teachers and students to carry out teaching and learning, with this application teachers can view assessment reports easily.
