APLIKASI MOBILE ANDROID PENCARIAN KOST DI KOTA PALEMBANG DENGAN METODE MOBILE-D

Abstract

Palembang City is a city that has many universities, this causes many people from outside the city of Palembang who want to continue their studies to the city of Palembang. The number of immigrants from outside the city of Palembang is an opportunity for businesses to rent houses or so-called boarding houses. The number of boarding houses scattered in the city of Palembang, not all of them can be known by the public. To get information on boarding houses in Palembang City, Google Maps API or location-based services are needed that can be accessed via smartphones. In this study, the researcher developed a MOBILE ANDROID APPLICATION FOR KOST SEARCH IN THE CITY OF PALEMBANG which aims to provide information to the public about the location of boarding houses in the city of Palembang. This application can provide information in the form of boarding details that can be seen by application users, the application can also display boarding based on the District in Palembang City. With this location-based service, users can find out the fastest route to the chosen boarding house.
