MENENTUKAN ALTERNATIF INVESTASI TERBAIK PENGADAAN MOBIL TANGKI MINYAK DENGAN METODE NVP-IRR

Abstract

In this global era, the world's industrial development is progressing, investment issues will be one of the important things, wrong calculation and analysis of business feasibility can be fatal and investment can float. The research was conducted at PT Pertamina RU III Palembang, where PT Pertamina in shipping avtur oil to the SMB II airport, still using tanki cars with leasing status, and the cost of tendering were often played by fleet owners. For this reason, Pertamina wants to invest by buying its own tanki car, so the research is then adjusted to test the value of feasibility, whether the investment buys a decent tanki car compared to the leasing. To test the feasibility value, the NPV and IRR calculation methods are used, where the reference value used in the calculation is the value of cash in - cash out which creates a net cash flow and the investment value it self. After calculation, then get the final calculation of NPV and IRR adjusted to MARR = 30%, that is, both investments are equally good to run because they both provide good profit for the company with a difference of only 0.21 % between buying and leasing
