PENERAPAN DISTRIBUTION RESOUSRCE PLANNING UNTUK MENDUKUNG STRATEGI SUPPLY CHAIN

Abstract

Implement distribution needs planning to control availability products through distribution scheduling in order to optimize product distribution activities at PT. Prima Tirta Bahagia. This study uses the Distribution Requirements Planning method. DRP focuses on the management of company inventory distribution. In this study, the application of DRP was preceded by forecasting demand. Demand forecasting of each product will use the best forecasting method which is the result of comparison with the average forecasting result per month is = 2227.07. The results of the demand forecasting will be used in inventory control and distribution scheduling through the application of the DRP method. The results of this study indicate that the application of DRP at PT. Tirta Prima Bahagia can solve the problems that have been faced by the distributor company in its distribution activities. By implementing DRP, the availability of products becomes adequate and distribution becomes smooth. With the steps of eoq 15624 and the total cost 3376877 This shows that the implementation of DRP results in the optimization of distribution activities in the distributor company. Thus, PT. Tirta Prima Bahagia no longer has to lose sales. Not according to schedule.
