ANALISA SISTEM DRAINASE DI PERUMAHAN BUKIT SEJAHTERA ILIR BARAT I PALEMBANG

Abstract

In the city of Palembang, several areas were affected by flooding or inundation, due to inadequate drainage system conditions, especially in Bukit Sejahtera Housing Ilir Barat I Palembang. This study aims to analyze the drainage system in Bukit Sejahtera HIlir Barat I Palembang Housing. The method for calculating flood discharge is approached with a rational formula, rainfall data is taken from Sultan Mahmud Badarudin II Palembang Station.The tides of the Lambidaro River, which is located next to the Bukit Sejahtera housing estate, greatly affect the impact of flooding that occurs in the drainage channels in the housing, besides the flooding that occurs also due to the impact of the intensity of high rainfall flowing in the channel when the tidal maximum and the amount of garbage that is in the channel and because of the poor condition of the channel due to flooding in the area.
