Analisis Peningkatan Produk Pupuk NPK Dengan Metode Quality Function Deployment(QFD) di PT PUSRI Palembang

Abstract

The potential NPK in the country is still quite large for the plantation sector. This makes the development of NPK fertilizer companies in Indonesia. PT Pusri Palembang's NPK factory began operating in February 2016 with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year. This competition is a pressure for PT PUSRI Palembang to continue to   exist. Consideration to prioritize quality is one thing that is the focus of PT PUSRI Palembang. NPK PT PUSRI Palembang has its own quality, but in 2017 there was a decrease in sales of NPK fertilizer. Production processes that pay attention to quality will produce products that are free from damage. Improving the quality of NPK fertilizer is an effort to improve food security and meet domestic needs while making the national fertilizer plant more competitive at home and abroad. QFD is a practice for designing a process in response to customer needs. QFD translates what customers need into what the organization produces. QFD allows organizations to prioritize customer needs, find innovative responses to those needs and improve processes to achieve maximum effectiveness.
